Installing the sound insulation on the rear door

Check
- Check the sound insulation for damage.
Result
» The sound insulation is damaged.
Measure
- Replace the sound insulation.
- Route the butyl rope (1) with 4 mm (sourcing reference BMW Group parts sales and distribution) along the previous routing of the butyl rope (1).
- Heat the butyl rope (1) with a hot air blower.
- Press the sound insulation (1) along the mark (3) with force on the inner door panel (2).
