51 71 412 Removing and installing/replacing rear spoiler

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove TRIM FOR REAR WINDOW FRAME, TOP

Removal:

Lift out the sealing cap and loosen screws (1) underneath.

Unclip the trim (1) from the clips (2).

Remove trim (1) towards the front.

Installation:

NOTE: Check sealing rings on clips (2).

If sealing rings are damaged, replace clips (2).

Feed in trim (1) towards the rear.

Clip in the trim (1) into the clips (2).

Tighten the screws (1) and install the sealing caps.

Tightening torque 51 71 1AZ .

Required follow-up work:

Install TRIM FOR REAR WINDOW FRAME, TOP
