51 47 161 Removing and installing/replacing right luggage compartment wheel arch panel

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove COVER FROM TAIL PANEL
- Remove LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT
Removal:
Lift out storage compartment (1) upwards.
Lever out lashing eye covers (2) and loosen screws underneath.
Remove the lashing eyes (2).
Remove the pin (3).
Remove the trim panel (4) towards the inside and in this process, disconnect the plug connections.
Installation:
Insert the trim panel (4) and in this process, connect the plug connections.
Tighten the pin (3).
Tightening torque 51 47 6AZ .
Install lashing eyes (2) and tighten screws.
Tightening torque 51 47 1AZ .
Install lashing eye covers (2).
Install storage compartment (1).
Required follow-up work:
- Install COVER ON TAIL PANEL
- Install LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT
