34 52 535 Replacing a rear pulse sensor

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove the REAR WHEEL .
• Partially detach the REAR WHEEL ARCH PANEL

Removal: 

Take the cable out of the bracket (1).

Release screw (2) and remove pulse sensor (3).

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Disengage cable from holders (2).

Installation: 

Clean bore hole for pulse sensor and grease with Staburags NBU 12/K lubricating grease (refer to: BRAKES - OPERATING FLUIDS ).

Attach brake pad wear sensor in the brackets (2).

Connect plug connection (1).

Install cable in bracket (1).

Install pulse sensor (3).

Fit bolt (2) and tighten.

Tightening torque, refer to: 34 51 5AZ .

Required follow-up work: 

• Install the REAR WHEEL ARCH PANEL
• Mount the rear WHEEL .
