Attention!
Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic damage, refer to: (ESD PROTECTION) .
Necessary preliminary work:
Only version with roof switch cluster:
- Remove the ROOF SWITCH CLUSTER
Removal:
For interior roof light equipment:
Carefully lever out interior roof light (1) using special tool 00 9 325 in direction of arrow at metal clamps (2).
Unlock and disconnect associated connector.
With roof switch center:
Release interior roof light (1) at clamps and feed out from roof switch cluster (2).
Replacement:
Installation:
For interior roof light equipment:
Connect associated connector.
Join interior roof light (1) in direction of arrow.
Installation note:
The metal clamps (2) on the interior roof light (1) must not be damaged or missing.
Make sure interior roof light (1) is correctly seated.
With roof switch center:
Feed interior roof light (1) into roof switch cluster (2).
Installation note:
Clamps must not be missing or damaged.
Make sure interior roof light (1) is correctly fitted in roof switch cluster (2).
Required reworking:
Only version with roof switch cluster:
- Install the ROOF SWITCH CLUSTER
