63 21 030 Replacing bulb holder for left or right rear light (side panel)

Necessary preliminary work: 

• Remove the REAR LIGHT 

Removal: 

Unlock and disconnect corresponding connector as necessary.

Press the locks (1) together to disengage them.

Remove the bulb socket (2) from the rear light.

Replacement: 

Remount the bulbs (1; 2).

Do this by carefully pressing bulbs (1; 2) into bulb holder (3) and turning anti-clockwise.

Then pull out bulb (1; 2) from bulb holder (3).

Insert bulb (1; 2) into new part of bulb holder (3).

Then carefully press bulb (1; 2) into bulb holder (3) and press to the right up to the limit position.

Installation: 

Insert the bulb socket (2) into the rear light.

Connect corresponding connector as necessary.
