63 11 840 Replacing left LED fan (outer)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Removal:

Loosen the screws (1) on the daytime driving lights module (2).

Pull the daytime driving lights module (2) from the headlights.

Unlock and disconnect the connector (1).

Unclip cable tie (2).

Remove the daytime driving lights module (3).

Release screws (1).

Guide out access line.

Remove fan (2).

Unlock and disconnect connector (3).

Installation:

Connect connector (3).

Install fan (2).

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque, refer to: 63 11 4AZ .

Connect the connector (1).

Clip in cable clip (2).

Installation note:

The gasket (4) on the daytime driving lights module (3) must not be damaged or missing.

Insert the daytime driving lights module (2) into the headlights.

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque, refer to: 63 11 3AZ .
