63 11 760 Replacing FELL control unit
Attention!
Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic damage, refer to: (ESD PROTECTION) .
Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove the HEADLIGHT - LED TECHNOLOGY
Removal:
Release all screws (1).
Remove frontal light electronics control unit (2) from headlight (3).
Installation:
NOTE:
Gasket (1) for frontal light electronics control unit (2) must not be damaged and must be installed free from grease.
Insert frontal light electronics control unit (2) into headlight.
Tighten down screws (1).
Tightening torque, refer to: 63 11 1AZ .
NOTE:
Make sure frontal light electronics control unit (1) is seated correctly.
Required follow-up work:
- Install the HEADLIGHT - LED TECHNOLOGY -
Replacement only:
Carry out PROGRAMMING/ENCODING .
