63 31 320 Replacing LED module in the front door trim panel on the left or right

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove the FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL

Removal: 

Disconnect associated connector.

Release LED module for door trim panel (1) from holder (2).

Release the fibre-optic conductor (2) on the latch mechanism by means of a screwdriver (3 mm blade).

Pull the fibre-optic conductor (2) out of the LED module for door trim panel (1).

Disconnect associated connector.

Release the LED module for door trim panel (1) from the holder.

Feed fibre-optic conductor (2) out of door trim panel.

Release the fibre-optic conductor (2) on the latch mechanism by means of a screwdriver (3 mm blade).

Pull the fibre-optic conductor (2) out of the LED module for door trim panel (1).

LED module for door trim panel (1) can only be removed if decorative strip has been removed.

Installation: 

Join fibre-optic conductor (3) to LED module for door trim panel (1).

Join LED module for door trim panel (1) with holder (2).

Connect associated connector.

Join the fibre-optic conductor (2) in the LED module for the door trim panel (1).

Feed fibre-optic conductor (2) into door trim panel.

Join LED module for door trim panel (1) with holder.

Connect corresponding connector.
