Removing holder of DME control unit for cylinders 5 to 8

- Leave the electrical components in their original packaging until they are being installed. Only use the original packaging for returning the product. Always
- package removed components straight away.
- Read and comply with user information on using the associated special tool 12 7 060.
- Only tap the housings of electrical components. Do not tap pins or multi-pin connectors directly.
- Wear electrically conductive clothing and antistatic shoes (with ESD symbol).

Preliminary work
- Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER PANEL OF THE SLAVE DME CONTROL DEVICE .
- Unlock and disconnect plug connections (1).
- Loosen the cable clip (2) upwards from the adapter plate.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Loosen the cable clip (1).
- Loosen screw (2).
- Loosen connector holder (1) upwards.
- Carefully push the holder of the refrigerant line (3) aside.
- Thread out holder with the DME control unit of cylinders 5 to 8 (2) and remove.
