Preliminary work
- Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
- Refer to REMOVING THE ACOUSTIC COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER PANEL OF THE MASTER DME CONTROL UNIT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER PANEL OF THE SLAVE DME CONTROL DEVICE .
- Refer to REMOVING HOLDER OF DME CONTROL UNIT FOR CYLINDERS 5 TO 8 .
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT ON THE LEFT .

Wiring harness section of DME for the integrated power supply module
- Unlock and disconnect the wiring harness section of DME for the integrated power supply module at the snap-in lug (1).
- Loosen screw (2).
- Place cable lugs (1) to one side.
- Unlock and disconnect the plug connection of the alternator (1).
- Remove the wiring harness from the bracket in the area (2).
- Unlock and disconnect the wiring harness section of DME for the integrated power supply module at the snap-in lug (1).
- Loosen nut (2).
- Place cable lugs (1) to one side.
- Unlock and disconnect the connector (1) on the integrated power supply module.
- Unlock and disconnect the connector on the DME master control unit at the area (2).
- Unlock the wiring harness mounting (3) and move it up to one side.
- Feed out and remove the wiring harness section of DME for the power distribution module.
