Remove the air duct on the coolant radiator
Preliminary work
- Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT ON THE RIGHT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT ON THE LEFT .
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT ORNAMENTAL GRILLE .
- Refer to REMOVING LEFT AND RIGHT BRAKE VENTILATION DUCT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT SECTION OF THE FRONT WHEEL ARCH COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT RIGHT WHEEL ARCH COVER FRONT SECTION .
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT BUMPER COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING THE EXTERNAL RADIATOR .
- Refer to RELEASING THE AUXILIARY COOLANT PUMP FOR THE HEATER CIRCUIT .
- Refer to REMOVING BOTH HEADLIGHTS .
- Refer to REMOVING TOPPING AUTOMATIC AIR FLAP CONTROL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE SUPPORT FOR THE FRONT BUMPER COVER AT THE BOTTOM .
- Refer to REMOVING AIR DUCT AT THE BOTTOM .
- Refer to REMOVING THE BRAKE VENTILATION DUCT .
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Remove the impact absorber (2).NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
- Disengage the air inlet (1) at the detents (2) and remove.
- Loosen the Screws (1) and remove the cover (2).
- Detach the trim panel (1) on the lever (2) from the guide in a backwards direction and fold it upwards.NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
- Loosen screw (1).
- Loosen expanding rivet (2).NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
- Lift the air duct (1) upwards out of the guide (2).
- Thread out air duct (1) and remove.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Thread out and remove reinforcement strut (2).
- Loosen the expanding rivet (1).
- Thread out air duct (2) and remove.
