Remounting the front center console when replacing the storage compartment

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING CUP HOLDER .
• Refer to REMOVING THE CENTER ARMREST STORAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM .
• Refer to REMOVING THE CENTER CONSOLE TRIM .
• Refer to REMOVING THE DECORATIVE TRIM ON THE CENTER CONSOLE ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT .
• Refer to REMOVING THE WIRELESS CHARGING STORAGE .
• Refer to REMOVING THE OPERATING FACILITY IN THE CENTER CONSOLE .
• Refer to REMOVING THE STORAGE COMPARTMENT IN THE FRONT CENTER CONSOLE .

Removing the front storage compartment trim 

• Hold the lower part (1) and pull the storage compartment trim (2) slightly to the rear in arrow direction.

  Feed the storage compartment trim (2) out to the top and remove.

Installing front storage compartment trim 

• Replace all guides or detents (arrows) for damage, replace the storage compartment trim (1) if necessary.

• Set the storage compartment trim (2) on the lower section (1) and clip it in arrow direction.

Removing the center stack trim 

• Release the center stack trim (1) towards the rear from the detents (arrows) and remove from the storage compartment (2).

Install the center stack trim 

• Check all detents (arrows) for damage; if necessary, replace the trim (1) of the center stack.

• Position the trim (1) of the center stack correctly on the storage compartment (2) and snap it into the detents (arrows).

Removing the interior antenna from the front storage compartment 

• Loosen screw (1).
• Detach and remove the interior antenna (2) from the storage compartment (3).

Installing the interior antenna on the front storage compartment 

• Position interior antenna (2) on storage compartment (3) and tighten screw (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION

  Screw	Tightening torque	2.3 Nm
