Removing seat belt extender
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Clean all threaded belt connections with micro-encapsulated outer and internal threads.
Shavings or other debris must not remain in the components.
If a microencapsulated screw is reused, it must be coated with the following screw locking agent: Loctite 243, medium strength.
The screw connection must be completed within 10 minutes as hardening begins after this period.

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE REAR OUTER WINDOW RECESS FINISHER STRIP .
- Refer to REMOVING THE INNER DOOR SILL COVER STRIP .
- Refer to REMOVING REAR SEAT BENCH .
- Refer to REMOVING LEFT AND RIGHT BACKREST SIDE SECTION .

- Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM PANEL AT THE TOP OF THE ROLLOVER PROTECTION SYSTEM .
- Refer to REMOVING REAR SIDE TRIM PANEL .
- Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.
- Unclip cable marked in yellow (2) from the side trim panel (3).
- Release nuts (1).
- Remove seat belt extender (2) from the side trim panel (3).
