Remove the module bracket from the front door
WARNING:
Working on 12 V electrical system.

- Make sure that there is no charger connected to the jump start terminal in the engine compartment.
- Detach battery ground lead from battery.
- For auxiliary batteries: Detach battery minus cables from all auxiliary batteries.
Preliminary work
- Refer to DEACTIVATING THE 48 V ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
- Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS . .
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL .
- Unlock and disconnect plug connections (1).
- Unclip wiring harness (2) on the module bracket on the front door.
- Release the rubber grommet of the Bowden cable for the inner door opener (3).
- Loosen screws (1).
- Open bayonet closures (1) by twisting them and remove the module bracket on the front door (2).
In the process, guide out the
Bowden cable for the inner door opener (3) from the module bracket on the front door (2).
