- Clean the sealing surface (1) with brake cleaner.

Commissioning of the assembly is not possible until 25 minutes after the processing time.

- Apply liquid sealing compound with a strong sealing bead of 1.5 mm to 2.0 mm in areas (1) .
- Install special tool 0 496 137 (11 8 815)
on the crankshaft.
- Replace screws (1)
to (11)
.

- Carefully install the timing case cover.
- Tighten the screws in order from (1) to (11) .
