Installing starter motor
Precondition
Battery earth lead is disconnected.
- Mount the starter motor (2).
- Tighten the screws (1).
TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

- Mount the positive battery cable on the starter motor.
- Tighten the nut and mount the cover (1).
TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
| Battery positive lead to starter | ||
| Cap nut M8 | Tightening torque | 13.5 Nm |
- Mount the cable (terminal 50) on the starter motor and tighten the nut (2).
TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
| Terminal 50 to starter motor | ||
| M6 hexagon nut | Tightening torque | 7 Nm |
