Replacing the drivetrain for the headrest height adjustment

Precondition 

• Fold seat forward

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE REAR PANEL ON THE FRONT SEAT BACKREST .
• Refer to REMOVING THE HEAD RESTRAINT .
• Refer to REMOVING THE BACKREST COVER WITH THE UPHOLSTERY FOR THE FRONT SEAT .

Removing the drive motor for the headrest height adjuster 

• Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.

• Remove the drive motor for the headrest height adjuster (1) at the attachment points (2) in the direction of the arrow.

  Installing the drive for head restraint height adjustment 

  NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION 
  The drivetrain for the headrest height adjustment must be replaced as soon as the head restraint is removed.
• Replace the drive for the head restraint height adjustment (1).

  Parts  : Drive for headrest height adjustment

• Install the drive for head restraint height adjustment (1) at the attachment points (2) in the arrow direction.

• Connect connectors (1) and lock.
