Removing the frame of the rear seat backrest

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR COVERING .
• Refer to REMOVING REAR SEAT BENCH .
• Refer to REMOVING REAR SEAT BACKREST .

• Unclip the edge stripping of the backrest covering in the marked area using the special tool  0 496 569 (00 9 325)  .
• Remove the rear panel (1)  .

• Carefully pull the backrest covering (1)  over the attachment points of the backrest frame (2)  .
• Remove the backrest covering (1)  from the backrest frame (3)  and unlock and disconnect plug connections as necessary.
