Remove rear seat backrest

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR COVERING .
• Refer to REMOVING REAR SEAT BENCH .

• Fold up the rear seat backrest.
• Release the trim (1) at the snap-in lugs (arrowed) and unclip it.
• Loosen screw (2).
• Remove the end plate from the central mount (3).

• Feed out the rear seat backrest (1) in the arrowed direction.

• Insert the rear seat backrest (1)  in the arrowed direction.

• Install the end plate on the central mount (3)  .
• Tighten down screw (2)  .
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  End plate to central mount
  M6x16	tightening torque	7.6 Nm

• Clip in the trim (1)  .
• Check that the snap-in lugs (arrowed) are correctly seated.
