Install speaker trim

• Remove welding residue (1) on door trim panel (2) with a scalpel.

• Replace the speaker trim.

  Parts:  Speaker trim

• Saw off welding pins (1) on the new speaker trim along the molding (2).

  Check whether the welding pins (1) do not extend beyond the door trim panel.

• Pull the pull handle (1) slightly in arrow direction and insert the speaker trim (2).

• Tighten the repair screws (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Speaker trim on door trim panel
  Oval-head screw for thermoplastic (7 118 369).	Tightening torque	2 Nm

• Secure the speaker trim (1) with the lock washers (2).

• Shorten the repair screw (1) to the predefined dimension a = 3 mm with a suitable tool.

• Tighten down screws (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Handle on door trim panel
  Screw for thermoplastic	Tightening torque	3.5 Nm

• Tighten the shortened repair screw (3).
