Checking the clips at the door trim panel
Clips on the door trim panel
- Check if the clips (1) and (2) are damaged and if available.
Missing or damaged clips (1) and (2) must be replaced.
- G14G15:
Check the clips (3) for damage and availability.
Missing or damaged clips (3) must be replaced.
- G16
Check the clips (4) for damage and availability.
Missing or damaged clips (4) must be replaced.
- Check the clamps (1) to ensure they are complete and for damage and replace if necessary.
- Connect all connectors and lock.
- Fasten the wiring harness (1) to the front door trim panel.
- Attach the Bowden cable (1) to the door lock (3) and the guide (2).
- Lift the front door trim panel over the operating rod and attach.
- Clip the front door trim panel in the clamps (1).
- Clip the front door trim panel in the clips (2) and the clamp (3).
- Tighten down screws (1).

Installing the cover on the handle
Check
- Check the guides (1) and the retaining lugs (2) for damage.
Result
Guides (1) or the retaining lugs (2) are damaged.
Measure
- Replace the cover (3) of the handle.
- Check the clamps (1) to ensure they are complete and for damage and replace if necessary.
- Place the cover on the pull handle and clip it in the clamps (1).
- Replace (2) clip.

Installing the cover of the door opener
Check
- Check detents (1) and guides (3) on the cover of door opener (2) for damage.
Result
The detents (1) or the guides (2) are damaged.
Measure
- Replace the cover (2) of the door handle.
- Pull the door opener.
- Insert cover (1) of the door opener with the guides and clip it in with detents (2).
