Removing the door sill trim panel

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE INNER DOOR SILL COVER STRIP .
• Refer to REMOVING THE ILLUMINATED FRONT SILL TRIM .

• Loosen screws (1).
• Loosen nuts (2).

• Loosen the expanding rivet (1).

• Release the door sill trim panel (1) with a suitable tool starting with the detents (2) at the rear.

• Release the door sill trim panel with the clip (1).
• Slide the door sill trim panel towards the front in order to release the detents (2) from the retaining strip (3).
• Release the door sill trim panel with the detents (2) from the retaining strip (3) and remove.
