Remove the illuminated front sill trim

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE INNER DOOR SILL COVER STRIP .

• Get the set of special tools 0 493 752 (00 9 329) ready.

• Disconnect plug connection (1).
• Loosen edge protection seal (2) in the area of the cable.

  NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE 
  Bending of plastic components  .
  Application of too much force can lead to bending of plastic components  .

  • Place special tool directly beside the mounting clip.
  • Continue unclipping the part without using the tool if possible.

• Loosen the illuminated front sill trim (1) with suitable tools with the clips (2).
• Feed out cables and remove the illuminated front sill trim (1).
• Remove clips (1) if necessary and affix on the illuminated front sill trim.
