• 11 25 Pistons And Piston Rings
  • 11 25 000 Removing and installing/replacing all pistons (840i coupe/convertible/Gran Coupe sedan)
    • Removing all the pistons with the connecting rod
    • Measuring all pistons
    • When replacing the pistons: Remount all connecting rods
    • Measuring a cylinder
    • Installing all the pistons with the connecting rod
  • 11 25 671 Replace the piston rings for all pistons (840i coupe/convertible/Gran Coupe sedan)
    • Remove the piston rings
    • Checking the end clearance of the new piston rings
    • Checking the side clearance of the new piston rings
    • Install the piston rings
  • 11 25 000 Removing and installing/replacing all pistons (840i xDrive coupe/convertible/Gran Coupe sedan)
    • Removing all the pistons with the connecting rod
    • Measuring all pistons
    • When replacing the pistons: Remount all connecting rods
    • Measuring a cylinder
    • Installing all the pistons with the connecting rod
  • 11 25 530 Removing and installing/replacing all pistons (engine removed) (M850i xDrive coupe/convertible/Gran Coupe sedan)
    • Removing the piston with connecting rod
    • If necessary: Replacing the piston
    • Installing piston with connecting rod
