Engine damage caused by excessively filling the engine with motor oil. Filling an excessive quantity of motor oil may cause engine damage.

- Observe the exact motor oil filling capacity.
- Allow engine oil to drip off when draining.

Make sure the vehicle is operating temperature for engine oil service (engine oil temperature > 70°C).

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE UNDERBODY PROTECTION OF THE STEERING GEAR AND THRUST FIELD RESPECTIVELY .
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT THRUST FIELD OR THE UNDERBODY PROTECTION OF THE STEERING GEAR .
- Refer to RELEASING THE OIL DRAIN PLUG .
- Refer to REMOVING THE STIFFENING PLATE .
- Refer to REMOVING LOWER OIL PAN SECTION .
- Loosen screw (1).
- Remove the oil snorkel (2).
- Loosen screws (1).
- Remove the pressure oil line (2).
- Loosen screws (1).
If necessary, the engine on the central bolt must be rotated clockwise to guarantee accessibility of the bolts (1).
- Remove the sprocket wheel (2).
- Protect the oil pump (3) from falling.
- Loosen nuts (2).
- Loosen screw (1).
- Remove oil pump (3).
