Removing the front thrust field or the underbody protection of the steering gear

Precondition

Underbody protection in the front partially released or removed.

Different variants may be installed depending on the vehicle equipment.

Driving without thrust field is not permissible.

Guide out and remove the front thrust field (1).

Loosen screws (1).

Remove screws (arrows).

Loosen screws (2).
