Removing the trim panel for the storage shelf
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING BOTH BACKREST SIDE SECTIONS .
- Refer to REMOVING THE LEFT AND RIGHT SEAT BELT FINISHER STRIP .
- Refer to REMOVING RIGHT C-PILLAR TRIM PANEL LEFT AND RIGHT .
Precondition
Rear seat backrests are folded
- Release the screws (1) on the roller sunblind from the cargo area.
- Unclip the cover (1) in arrow direction.
- Feed out the seat belt finisher strip (2).
- Loosen the expanding rivet (1).
- Lift the trim panel for the rear shelf (2) slightly and disconnect the plug connection on the right side (for the roller sunblind).
- Feed the trim panel for the rear shelf (2) together with the roller sunblind, out of the guides at the rear and remove.
