Fit the roof lining

• Lay the headlining (1) into the vehicle as shown and center it using the center marking of the zipper of the convertible top fabric (2).

  NOTE: The description is provided only at one component. The procedure is the same for all other components.
• Thread both the ends of the zipper (1) on one side into the zip fastener zipper (2) supplied.

  Check 

• Zip up the zipper (1) up to a point just over half way and check that the center markings (2) match.

  Result 

  » If the center marking (2) is offset by more than 5 mm.

  Measure

  • Fully open the zipper (1) and thread it in again slightly offset from the previous time.
• Close both rear zippers.
  NOTE: Perform the steps on the left and right side.
• Push the mounting plate (1) from below on to the hinge (2).
• Make sure the retaining tab (3) engages correctly on the hinge (2).

• Hook the tension cable (1) to the C-pillar mounting plate (2).

• Connect the headlining (1) to the convertible top fabric by closing the front two zippers (2) in the arrow direction.

• Suspend the headlining (1) from the springs (2).

• Fasten the headlining (1) on the clamps (2).

• Fasten the blind rivets (1).

• Position the keder strip (1) of the headlining (2) along the frame of the rear window (3) and clip it in. Begin at upper center.

• Clip the headlining (1) around the rear window, completely within the marked area.
