Replacing the LED fan

- Leave the electrical components in their original packaging until they are being installed. Only use the original packaging for returning the product. Always package removed components straight away.
- Read and comply with user information on using the associated special tool 12 7 060.
- Only tap the housings of electrical components. Do not tap pins or multi-pin connectors directly.
- Wear electrically conductive clothing and antistatic shoes (with ESD symbol).

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER FOR THE CENTER ENGINE COMPARTMENT .
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT ORNAMENTAL GRILLE .
- Refer to PARTIALLY REMOVING THE FRONT SECTION OF THE FRONT WHEEL ARCH COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT BUMPER COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING HEADLIGHT .
- Loosen screws (1).
- Pull the cover (2) out of the headlight.
- Unlock and disconnect the connector (1) from the LED fan (2).
- Loosen screws (1).
- Remove the LED fan (2) from the cover (3).
- Replace the LED fan.
Parts: LED fan
- Position the fan (2) on the cover (3).
- Tighten down screws (1).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
LED fan PT screw 30x32 tightening torque 1.5 Nm - Connect the connector (1) to the LED fan (2).
- Check the seal (3) for damage and replace if necessary.
- Position the cover (2) in the headlight.
- Tighten down screws (1).
