Removing the acoustic cover for the engine at the front

• All work on the high-voltage system may only be carried out by specially trained and technically experienced personnel.

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE ACOUSTIC COVER .
• Refer to REMOVING RESONATOR .
• Refer to REMOVING CLEAN AIR PIPE .
• Refer to REMOVING CHARGE AIR LINE .

• Check if the acoustic cover (1)  in marked area is cut through.
• If necessary, cut through acoustic covering (1)  marked area.

• Release all expanding rivets in marked areas.
• Guide the acoustic cover (1)  out and remove.
