Installing The Left Front Side Panel

• Close front door.
• Install the side panel (1)  towards the vehicle at an angle, shifting from the rear to the front.

  Position the hooks (2)  in the guide at the headlights (3)  .

  Position the side panel (1)  on the vehicle around the A-pillar.

• Screw in all screws on the side panel (1)  until it is just about possible to shift the side panel (1)  .

  The gap dimensions form the basis for these repair instructions and must be observed without fail.

• Adjust gap dimensions.
• Tighten the screws (1)  .

  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS 

  Side panel to bracket
  M6 screw Renew screw.	tightening torque	8 Nm

• Tighten the screws (1)  .

• Tighten the screws (1)  .

• Tighten down screw (1)  .

• Open the front door.

  Tighten down screw (1)  .

  Press onto the signaled area of the seal (3)  and engage the hook (2)  .

  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS 

  Side panel to bracket
  M6 screw Renew screw.	tightening torque	8 Nm

• Install the shaped part (1)  .
