Removing and installing/replacing left (right) capping trim panel (330i GT xDrive, 340i GT xDrive)

00 9 325

The operation is described for the left-hand side; proceed in the same way for the right-hand side.

Remove front storage shelf

Fold rear seat backrest forward

Unclip cover (1) at clip (2).

Carefully release cover (1) on retaining lug (3) and remove in direction of arrow.

Installation note:

Clip (1) and retaining lugs (2) on cover (3) must not be missing or damaged.

Pry out luggage compartment lights (1) with special tool 64 1 020.

Disconnect associated plug connection and remove luggage compartment lights (1).

Pry out cargo release (1) using special tool 00 9 325.

Release associated Bowden cable and remove cargo release (1).

Version with backrest remote release:

Unlock catch (1) in direction of arrow with suitable tool.

Release trim panel shoulder (1) at screws (2).

Release trim panel shoulder (1) in direction of arrow.

Feed out seat belt (2) from trim panel shoulder (1) and remove trim panel shoulder (1).

Replacement:

If necessary, swap over led for LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT .
