Install the armrest

• Replace armrest.

  Parts:  Armrest.

• Shorten the welding pin (1) at the new armrest by the dimension (a).

  Shorten the welding pin
  Dimension a	3 mm

• Saw off the welding pins (2) at the new armrest, each along the molding (3).
• Check that the welding pins (2) do not extend beyond the door trim panel.
• Remove welding residue (1) on door trim panel (2) with a scalpel.

• Remove the molding (1) using a suitable tool.

• Feed the armrest (1) into the door trim panel (2) and position correctly.
• Clip the armrest (1) into the detents (3).

• Tighten the screws (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Armrest on front door trim panel
  Oval-head screw	Tightening torque	3 Nm

• Attach the armrest using repair screws (1) and lock washer (3).
• Tighten the repair screws (1).
