Inserting the output shaft
Precondition
- Output shaft removed
NOTE:
RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to the transmission end joint of the output shaft .
Pull or push between the output shaft and the transmission end joint leads to damage to the transmission end joint .
Damage to the transmission end joint of the output shaft .
Pull or push between the output shaft and the transmission end joint leads to damage to the transmission end joint .
- Avoid pulling or pushing between the output shaft and the transmission end joint when removing, installing and repairing the output shaft.
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The transmission-side joint may be bent by max. 18° and the wheel-side joint by max. 45°!

Repair should only be carried out via the transmission end-side joint! Do not push off or dismantle the wheel-side joint!

Preliminary work
- Clamp the output shaft (1) in the vice with aluminum vice jaw protectors (2).
