Install the spindle drive of the right trunk lid

Installing the tailgate spindle drive 

• Before installing the spindle drive, (1) make sure that the top and bottom clamps (2) are in their initial position.

• Fit the spindle drive (3) with the funnel (4).
• Press the spindle drive (3) onto the ball hub, both on top and at the bottom, (1) until the clamps (2) engage audibly.

• Feed in the funnel (2) below the sealing lip of the tailgate seal.
• Clip the funnel (2) into the clamps (3).
• Connect connectors (1) and lock.
