Installing cover for luggage compartment on right

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Installing the cover of the luggage compartment

Precondition

Rear seat backrest is folded.

Check

Check the clip (1) at the cover of the luggage compartment side shelf for damage, replace if necessary.
Check clamps (2) on the cover of the luggage compartment side shelf for damage and replace if necessary.
Check the detents (3) at the cover of the luggage compartment side shelf for damage.

Result

» Detents (3) are damaged.

Measure

Replace cover of the luggage compartment side shelf.
Parts: Cover of the luggage compartment side shelf

Fit and position the cover of the luggage compartment side shelf.
Clip in the cover of the luggage compartment trim panel using the detents (1) and the clip (2).
Feed in the cover of the luggage compartment side shelf below the sealing lip of the tailgate seal.

Clip the cover of the luggage compartment side shelf into the clamps (1) and the detent (2).
