Installing the 12 V dual storage system

• Install the 12V dual storage system (3).
• Release the attachment of positive battery cable (2).
• Position the positive battery cable (2) on the positive battery terminal.
• Tighten nut (1).

Check 

• Check the guide (1) and the snap-in lugs (2) on the positive terminal cover (3) for damage.

Result 

» guide (1) or snap-in lugs (2) are damaged.

Measure

• Replace positive terminal cover (3).

  Parts:  positive terminal cover

• Connect connectors (5) and lock.
• Install the battery rollover protection bracket (4).
• Tighten nut (3).

• Position the positive terminal cover (2).
• Clip in the detents (1) of the positive terminal cover (2).

Follow-up work 

• Refer to IF INSTALLED: REMOVING STRUT BRACE IN THE REAR OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT .
• Refer to CONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
• Refer to REGISTER BATTERY CHANGE .
