Installing the tailgate trim panel

• Check the clips (arrows) on the tailgate trim panel for damage; if necessary, replace them.

• Guide in the tailgate trim panel over the striker (1) and position it.
• Clip in the tailgate trim panel with the clips at the marked points.

• Tighten the screws (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Tailgate trim panel to trunk lid
  Oval-head screw	tightening torque	1.6 Nm

• Install the warning triangle (1).

• Install the cover (2).
• Close the screw cap (1).
