In order to guarantee the quality of the Driver Assistance functions in vehicles with concealed radar sensors, please read and comply with the following notes:
No labels may be attached in the radiation areas of the radar sensors.
The component may be painted if no radar sensors have been installed.
The following features can be used to identify whether radar sensors are installed on the vehicle:
Radar sensors are installed at the rear if the triangular warning light is located on the exterior mirror (in the mirror glass or on the mirror frame).
Radar sensors are installed at the front and rear if the triangular warning light is located on the exterior mirror (in the mirror glass or on the mirror frame) in conjunction with the optional equipment S5ATA or S5AUA.

Removing the tail light on the side panel
- Unclip the cover of the water channel (1) in arrow direction.
- Unfold sound insulation (1) and loosen the nut below.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Guide out tail light (2).NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Observe the note on unlocking and disconnecting plug connections.
