Checking/Topping up the transfer case oil (Active Torque Control 13-1)
NOTE:
RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to the transmission .
Damage to the transmission due to unapproved transmission oil .
Damage to the transmission .
Damage to the transmission due to unapproved transmission oil .
- Use only the approved transmission oil.
- Check the transmission oil level after completing the repair.
- Open the oil filler plug (1) .
- Check the transmission oil level on the transfer case (VTG).
- If necessary, top up transmission oil with the special tool 0 493 337 (00 2 080)
up to the lower edge of the opening for the oil filler plug.
