Installing front brake pads

Check 

• Is there an arrow (1)  on the new brake pads for the direction of rotation?

  Result 

  » Yes, an arrow (1)  is present.

  Measure

  • Brake pads must be installed in the direction of rotation.
• Insert and position the brake pads in the brake caliper.
• Place the brake caliper on the stud bolts and position the brake caliper correctly.
• Replace nuts (1)  .

• Install the nuts (1)  and tighten.

  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Brake caliper on stud bolt of the front swivel bearing
  M12 Replace nuts.	Tightening torque	95 Nm

• Push the locking pins (1)  in the arrow direction up to the stop.

  If necessary, press the brake pads against the spring force of the retaining spring.

• Hook brake hose (1)  into holder.

• Refer to INSTALLING THE FRONT BRAKE PAD WEAR SENSOR .
• Refer to INSTALLING THE FRONT LEFT AND RIGHT WHEELS .
• Refer to COMMISSIONING OR BEDDING IN (BRAKE) OF NEW BRAKE PADS AND DISCS (HIGH BRAKE) .
