Remove stiffening strut

Preliminary work
- Refer to DEACTIVATING VEHICLE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
- Refer to REMOVING THE CENTER ENGINE COMPARTMENT COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING CENTER RADIATOR ORNAMENTAL GRILLE .
- Refer to PARTIALLY REMOVING BOTH WHEEL ARCH COVERS IN FRONT .
- Refer to PARTIALLY REMOVING TEMPERATURE SENSOR .
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT BUMPER COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING TOPPING AIR DUCT .
- Refer to REMOVING PEDESTRIAN PROTECTION SENSOR .
- Release the unfiltered-air grille (1) with detents (2) and remove.
NOTE:

- Detach the air duct (1) at the lever (2) rearwards and fold upwards.
- Loosen screws (3) .
- Feed out reinforcement strut (4) towards the front.
