Remove the module bracket from the front door

Preliminary work 

• Refer to DEACTIVATING THE 48 V ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
• Refer to REMOVING THE MIRROR TRIANGLE COVER .
• Refer to REMOVING THE EXTERIOR MIRROR .
• Refer to REMOVING THE WINDOW CHANNEL STRIP ON THE FRONT DOOR .
• Refer to REMOVING THE COVER ON THE DOOR HANDLE .
• Refer to REMOVING FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL .

• Secure the side window glass to the door frame when it is closed using adhesive tape.
• Spread both holders simultaneously (1) on the side window glass using special tool  0 496 569 (00 9 325)  until it is possible to detach the side window  glass.
• Shift power windows down by approximately 10 cm.

  Disconnecting all battery ground leads

• Unlock and disconnect plug connections (1).
• Release all the cable clips of the wiring harness (2).

• Loosen screws (1).

• Release the snap fasteners (1) and feed out the module bracket (2).
  NOTE: The module carrier (2) cannot be removed if the power windows are moved completely down.
