Remove the window channel strip on the front door

Mechanical effects.
Paint damage.

Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.

Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.

Pull the window channel strip (1) off the door with a suitable plastic wedge beginning from the rear to the top.
The window channel strip (1) will thereby be deformed and must be replaced.
