Remove rear seat backrest

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING REAR SEAT BENCH .

• Open the center armrest (1).
• Detach the lining (2) from the Velcro fastener.

• Loosen screws (1).

• Close the center armrest (1).
• Loosen screw (2).
• Remove the safety belt (3).

• Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.

• Loosen screws (1).

• Slightly pull the rear seat backrest (1) forward at the bottom and detach it from the guides (2) towards the top.
• Pull the rear seat backrest (1) out from the safety belts and remove it.

• Insert the rear seat backrest (1) and the feed in the seat belt.
• Attach the rear seat backrest (1) upwards into the guides (2) in the arrow direction.

• Tighten down screws (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Rear seat backrest on body
  Screw	tightening torque	18.5 Nm

• Connect connectors (1) and lock.

• Position the seat belt (3) and tighten the screw (2).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  End lining to body
  screw	tightening torque	42 Nm

• Open the center armrest (1).

• Tighten down screws (1).

  Rear seat backrest on body
  Screw	tightening torque	18.5 Nm

• Secure the lining (2) on the seat frame with the Velcro fastener.
• Close the center armrest (1).
