41 52 040 Removing/Installing/Replacing Left Or Right Rear Door Outer Skin

NOTE: Read contents of BODY, GENERAL .

Observe procedures for REPAIR STAGE 1 .

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

The following expendable items are required:

  1. Clip, quantity: 11

Removal 

  1. Release door outer skin outwards from the bottom side with a forceful jerk.
  2. Then pull off door outer skin from the top side.

Remove clips (1) from adjusting elements.

New part preparation 

Insert new clips into door outer skin.

Installation

NOTE: On installation, the positioning aids (1) must fit into the recesses (2) on the door window frame.

The door outer skin is installed in reverse order to removal.
