41 34 040 Stripping Operation - Replacing Outer Part And Inside Middle Part Of Tail Panel

- Remove battery (61 21 010 )
- Remove bumper trim (51 12 156 )
- Remove bumper support (51 12 050 )
- Remove center bumper guide (51 12 825 )
- Remove guide for bumper on left and right (51 12 828 )
- Remove luggage compartment floor trim panel (51 47 102 )
- Tail panel cover (51 46 050 )
- Remove left luggage compartment wheel arch panel (51 47 151 )
- Remove right luggage compartment wheel arch panel (51 47 161 )
- Remove rear light on left and right (63 21 181 )
- Remove tailgate lock (51 24 105 )
- Release and lower rear silencer. See 18 12 031 REPLACING REAR SILENCER (N20) , 18 12 031 REPLACING REAR SILENCER (N52T) or 18 12 031 REPLACING REAR SILENCER (N55) .
- Partially detach tailgate seal
- Remove control unit for air suspension
- Remove control unit for automatic luggage compartment lid actuation
Operation is described on the left side. Right side identical.
Release nut/expanding rivets and remove both supports (1) for floor panels.
Release wiring harnesses (1) from rear trim panel and lay towards front.
