Removing module bracket on the rear door

Preliminary work 

• Remove the rear door outer window CHANNEL STRIP .
• Remove rear door TRIM PANEL ..

• Secure the door window glass (1) when it is closed on top of the door frame with adhesive tape.
• Spread out the holder (2) using the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325)  until the door window glass (1) can be detached.
• Simultaneously, operate the power window to shift it down approximately 10 cm and thereby detach the holder (2) from the door window glass (1).

• Detach the clips for the door wiring harness (1) from the module bracket (2).
• Disconnect connector for the door wiring harness (1) on the module bracket (2).

• Loosen screws (1).

• Open locks (1) and remove the module bracket (2).
