Remove rear door trim panel
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
- Release trim (1) of the door handle from the detents with the special tool 0 496 570 (00 9 326)
and remove from the guide (2) in arrow direction.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Loosen screw (2).
- Unclip the door trim panel (1) using special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) from the clips (2).
- Detach the Bowden cable (1) for the door opener first on the counter support (2) and then the door lock (3).
- Detach the detents of the door wiring harness (1) from the door trim panel (2).
- Disconnect the plug connections of the door wiring harness (1) and remove the door trim panel (2).
